Like Cellucor? Want Free Supps?

Like Cellucor supplements? Wanting to get great fitness results? Well, I might just have an offer that combines the best of both worlds! As most of you know, I am a HUGE Cellucor fanatic. I am part of their black ops group that periodically gets to check out and review new supplements before or as they hit shelves. Also, I use many Cellucor supplements each and every day! I stand by so many of them, and I recommend that, if you haven’t already, you give their product line a look or two! They have great supplements to take before your workout, during your workout, and after your workout. They have fat burners, testosterone boosters, and so much more. Truly, I find their supplements to be WORLD CLASS!

So… What’s The Deal?

Most of you know that I have a promo code (DWAYNE) that you can use at check-out when you buy directly from Cellucor.com! This promo code will give you 20 off your entire order and free shipping. You can’t beat that! But, this is old news, right? I mean… I’ve had this promo code for quite a long time now. True, but I am offering a special additional incentive for the month of May.

The Incentive!

If 15 orders or more are made during the month of May using my promo code (DWAYNE) on Cellucor.com, I will randomly select [during one of my YouTube video shoots] one person from those who ordered and send him/her a Cellucor supplement valued up to $40 retail. If 20 or more orders are generated using my promo code during the month of May, I will select two random (different) people [who ordered using my code] to receive a Cellucor supplement valued up to $40 retail. How awesome is that?

How do I participate?

Simple!

  1. Order from Cellucor.com and use my promo code DWAYNE when you checkout.
  2. Then, fill out a quick form at http://fitness.dwaynekilbourne.com/cellucornation/ – I’m not saving your contact information nor selling it to anybody else. Basically, I am just needing it so that I can (a) verify that you ordered using my promo code and (b) have your shipping information in case you are one of the lucky people selected to get some awesome Cellucor supps!
  3. Order more if you want additional chances!

Cellucor | 20% off and free shipping

Hints!

Here are a few things to consider if you want additional chances to get the free supplement.

  • If you will need to buy more than one supplement this month, why not make separate orders? You can enter as many times as you order. One order placed today with two items on it is eligible for one entry; however, two orders of one item would be eligible for two entries (no matter which days you make those orders so long as they happen in May).
  • Do your friends need some supplements? Cool! Tell them you can get 20% off – have them pay you the money for the supplements and order them under your name! Bam… you just increased your odds!
  • Tighter on money this month? Team up with some friends, pool your money together for those supplements that you need to buy, and get in on the action!

Simple, Huh?

It’s that simple! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me on Facebook or Twitter! And be sure to follow Cellucor on Facebook and Twitter too! They are always sharing upcoming news and releases on social media first!

Dexter Jackson Captures His Fourth Arnold Classic Title

We arrived at the 25th Anniversary edition of the Arnold Classic with one main question in mind – will anybody prevent Dexter “The Blade” Jackson from tying “Flex” Wheeler for the all-time record for most Arnold Classic titles (4)? Personally, I was expecting Toney “X-Man” Freeman to at least take second place and potentially challenge for the title, but it appeared that nothing was going to stop “The Blade” from winning on this night! On a Saturday evening in Columbus, Ohio, Dexter was in top form, riding some great bodybuilding competition momentum from recent major wins in recent months. You can’t deny the motivation and hard work that Dexter puts in between competitions. This competition was his to lose, and he showed up in good form.

Thoughts on the X-Man!

Living in Atlanta since 2009, I’ve had the privilege to meet Toney and workout out beside him. He is no joke. At a young age of 6, he appears ageless.  I really want to see the X-Man capture this title, but [apparently] it was not in the cards. In fact, even though he grew stronger as the competition and evening went on, Toney somehow slipped down to third place. But, he continues to have a positive attitude as he refocuses on the rest of the competitive season. Then again, the $50,000 third place paycheck doesn’t hurt, huh?

Disappointment in the Field…

While I am not here to take away anything from the strong field of competitors, it was a bit shocking to see only a few of the top elite bodybuilders vying for this title. Branch Warren (2-time and defending Arnold Classic champion) pulled out – as did a bunch of others. It seems like the top three guys (Phil Heath, Kia Greene, and Jay Cutler) are holding out for Mr. Olympia each year. Certainly, I understand the importance of that for them, and they still put on a number of guest poses . They do not want to have to peak more than once per year and hence risk losing placement at the Mr. Olympia, but that is very frustrating as a bodybuilding fan. I’m now wishing that the powers that may be would somehow tweak the point system a bit more to sway other top bodybuilders to step on stage at the Arnold Classic. I mean… this is the ARNOLD!

Recap!

Well, it was a great weekend of bodybuilding. Unfortunately, I was not in attendance, but I did monitor many of the blogs, social media accounts, and the free webcast to get the latest scoop. This year, Elaine and I watched the last few moments of the Arnold via a laptop at our favorite local Barnes & Noble, but we hope to make it up to Columbus, Ohio for the 2014 edition! Until then, we will look forward to the competitions between now and the Mr. Olympia contest!

The 2013 Arnold Classic Is THIS Weekend!

Wow! Time flies by faster with each new year. I can hardly grasp that it is almost March. For those in the fitness industry and for those fitness fanatics, that can only mean one thing; this upcoming weekend marks what many consider to be one of the (if not THE) best fitness expos in the world. Are you ready for the Arnold Classic? Do you plan to attend the festivities?

Everything… and More!

The Arnold Classic has everything. For starters, the Arnold Classic is home to bodybuilding competitions. Outside of the Mr. Olympia contest, this is the top bodybuilding contest that everybody watches, attends, and shoots for! Next, the expo fills up with thousands of fans and numerous fitness celebrities. All of the major supplement and fitness-related companies will be in attendance. Outside of fitness and bodybuilding competitions and the expo, this event offers gymnastics, powerlifting, Zumba, CrossFit competitions, weightlifting competitions, mixed martial arts, and so much more!

The entire event, known as the Arnold Sports Festival, kicks off on Thursday night with the Expo opening its doors the following morning (March 1, 2013). As the weekend arrives, the competitions will commence, and champions will be crowned, including a new Arnold Classic champion. Will Dexter “Blade” Jackson win his fourth Arnold Classic? Or will Toney “X-Man” Freeman or Cedric McMillan steal the show? Even though he recently broke a wrist, Hidetada Yamagishi will be competing!

My Hopes!

Personally, I have never attended this event, but I hear great things about it. Unfortunately, I will not be attending the events at the Arnold this year, but I look forward to checking this event out soon! As for the namesake competition, I’m hoping for a competitive battle between the “Blade” and “X-Man!” Lastly [if you are attending the events], I hope that you take the time to check-in to the two main venues [Arnold Expo & Arnold Classic Competition]! And be sure swing by Cellucor’s booth – tell them that Dwayne sent you! Well, the 25th Arnold Sport Festival [and Arnold Classic] will be another great hit. If you are going, I’d love to hear your plans for the event. If you have gone in the past, what parts of this event did you like the best? As for me, I plan to watch it unfold live on the free webcast!

The Blade Is Back | Dexter Jackson Wins 2012 Masters Olympia

If people think Dexter has been fading over the past few years, think again; “The Blade” is BACK! In this year’s highly-anticipated Masters Olympia competition, 34 competitors took the stage to compete for a top prize of $100,000. When the dust cleared and the scores were tallied, IFBB Pro Dexter “The Blade” Jackson took top honors. All in all, the event showcased the world’s top bodybuilders over the age of 40. In fact, a few competitors were in their fifties, sixties, and even seventies.

Dexter Jackson wins Masters Olympia 2012

The Masters Olympia took a hiatus from 2003 until this year, so it is nice to see such a strong showing for this event. Certainly, as time progresses, I’d expect to see even stiffer competition in years to come as I’d anticipate participation by Jay Cutler and hopefully even Ronnie Coleman. Heck, let’s get Arnold out there too. Still, 2012 was Dexter’s year to shine, and his physique looks in top form. In fact, his form reminds many of how he was back in 2008 when he took the Sandow! “The Blade” overcame tough competition from Toney “X-Man” Freeman, Dennis James, Edward Nunn, and Ronny Rockel.

As more and more of our current IFBB Pro bodybuilders age and look to retire, let’s hope that many will reconsider and enter the Masters Olympia! So, there you have it, “The Blade” came out on top!

Phil Heath Reigns Supreme… Again

Well, the Olympia competition and expo for 2012 has [now] come and gone. This past weekend was jam-packed with lots of top-notch athletes. Some of the bodybuilders have been at this show for a while now with a few others making their first appearance.  Specific to the Mr. Olympia competition, Phil “The Gift” Heath still reigned supreme. After two nights of judging, he edged Kai Greene to retain the title he first earned last year! Heath was very impressive as expected, but I must say that I was still Kai Greene really gave him a run for his money! I guess a little competition doesn’t hurt, huh?

To Be The Man…

… you have to beat the man! While Kai rocked the stage with solid definition and overall muscle thickness, it was not enough in the eyes of the judges to overtake the current king of bodybuilding, Phil Heath. It would be nice to see Phil have a few more challengers as he tries to march towards many more titles. Luckily, for the fans of bodybuilding, it appears that he has great competition coming straight for him. Kai continues to challenge him for top honors, and new challengers are stepping into the mix. Shawn “Flexatron” Rhodes, who took third place, certainly appears to have what it takes to improve for many years to come. Of course, we cannot forget Dexter “The Blade” Jackson [who took fourth], Branch Warren [who took a disappointing fifth], Dennis Wolf [who took a disappointing sixth], and Toney “X-Man” Freeman [who took seventh].

The Surprises

Overall, the show was great, but there were a few surprises – both good and bad. First, Shawn Rhodes came into the show in top form, but he is basically a rookie by most accounts. In the past, there have been some younger competitors who arguably could have been placed higher at Mr Olympia if not for potential judging bias, etc. [In the eyes of many fans] For some judges, some competitors had to work harder and put their time in to earn their stripes, while giving the benefit of the doubt [and podium placements] to some veteran competitors who could otherwise be viewed less worth of the placement in the final standings. Of course, this is all arguable, but Flexatron came in looking great, and [thankfully] he was awarded accordingly. Kudos to the judges! Second, Branch Warren did not place in the top three. After having to sit out last year’s event due to injury and winning this year’s Arnold Classic! Certainly, he is not happy with the fifth place finish, and I’m sure few people expected him to rank at number five.  Lastly, Dennis Wolf appears to get no respect, or at least that is what some experts and fans proclaim. To many people’s surprise, he dropped all the way down to sixth place. Some find that he seems to fade a bit during the longer, multi-day shows. I’ll leave you to ponder that one!

Question Marks!

This was one of the few years that Jay Cutler did not compete. He had surgery earlier this year and was extra busy with the business side of things. But, he said that he will be back in 2013. So, if he comes back to compete, where will Jay fall in the mix of things? Can he compete for the top spot again? Also, with Branch Warren still coming back from surgery 13 or 14 months ago, how will he do with more [training and] recovery time? I guess we will just have to wait and watch as 2013 unfolds. I know one thing that is for sure – I will do my best to get to Las Vegas to see the results next time! It’s bound to be EPIC! So, are you pleased with the rankings at this year’s Mr. Olympia? Did the judges get it right? And how do you see the near future unfolding as new challengers step up and veterans refine their physiques?

Mr Olympia – Changing of the Guard

This past weekend marked what many bodybuilding experts contend is the changing of the guard. In essence, the four time champion, Jay Cutler, passed the torch to good friend, Phil “The Gift” Heath. For those who might not know, every fall (typically in September) the biggest and best bodybuilders from around the world (who qualified) come together in Vegas for the mecca of all bodybuilding competitions, Mr. Olympia. This is a unique 2-day competition that is the SuperBowl or World Series for bodybuilders! For so many bodybuilders, it is the ultimate prize. With Phil Heath winning the title for the first time this year, he becomes only the 13th bodybuilder to ever have earned the title, so, as you can see, this achievement is quite impressive. Congratulations to “The Gift” on the dominating Olympia win!

Phil Heath Jay Cutler Olympia 2011

4-time Mr O Jay Cutler (left) and new Mr O Phil Heath (right) battle it out in the 2011 callouts

Getting back to this past weekend, I must say that Phil “The Gift” Heath was in amazing condition. In what many considered a flashback to the days of symmetry and Flex Wheeler in lieu of just pure mass, Phil Heath brought the complete package to the stage and truly won over both the judges and the fans!  Look at the video embedded below and tell me that his physique is not impressive. Certainly, many will conclude that such a body is not built naturally, and others will remind us that some people are just genetically gifted, but, no matter what, it takes a lot of effort to get to looking like Phil Heath. After taking second in 2010 in what some considered should have been a victory for “The Gift,” he went back to the drawing board and drew up a masterpiece for 2011! It truly appears that the torch has been passed from Cutler, but Jay has yet to announce retirement nor said he would not be back to battle in 2012’s Olympia, so anything is possible. On the other hand, this could very well be the beginning of another Mr Olympia Dynasty. Hopefully, I will be able to be in attendance to see it all unfold in fall of 2012 ~ who wants to take the trip to Vegas with me? Until then, watch this masterful posing performance and grow speechless at his top notch physique.

Winner, Winner, Cellucor Dinner!

Wow! What a day. Two weeks ago, I heard about this great contest that Cellucor was putting on. Basically, the person who referred the most people to like the Cellucor Facebook Page would win one free year of supplements. Since I have been using more of their awesome products (like C4, M5, and M5 2-in-1) lately, I felt that it was worth the shot. First, recommending this page to my workout buddies and supporters really was a no-brainer since I was sure that they would get some great use out of it and possibly find a Cellucor product that fits their fitness needs! Second, I have a great number of Facebook (and other social media network) friends; some are people I have known a great number of years and hang out with in person while others are virtual friends and colleagues I have had the pleasure to connect with in recent years! Overall, this contest was perfect for me because it integrated two of my biggest passions – social media and bodybuilding/fitness! Still, winning this contest wasn’t going to be easy, and I simply could not take for granted that everybody would just take time out of their busy days to lend me a hand. Of course, there would be a few moments wherein I would have to ensure some of my friends and colleagues that there wasn’t some form of catch to this contest (like so many others have)! Well, I have to say that I pulled out my social media toolbox and reached out to my great connections, and they certainly did not disappoint. For those of you whom I sent multiple requests to and filled up your Facebook message box in an effort to get an extra page like for this great supplement company (and to ensure you that my random message was not some hacker using my account maliciously), I appreciate your patience and understanding. For everybody who considered liking the Cellucor Facebook Page on my behalf, I am extremely thankful. And to everybody who had a moment to check out and like the Cellucor Facebook Page, words cannot give justice to my extreme gratefulness! At around 2:00PM (EST), Cellucor announced (on their Facebook Page) that I won the contest!

Lastly, I must let you know that I will not take this opportunity for granted, and I will not put this chance to waste. I plan to try out some of Cellucor’s new line of supplements along with some of the ones I love and use today, but I do not plan to just keep my results and thoughts to myself. Instead, I will be keeping you posted about what I think about various Cellucor products and stacks! So, please check back (or subscribe) to follow along this exciting 12 month journey! Again, thank you for all of your help and support… and for making this contest dream of mine a reality!

Help Me Stay Fit Now That I’m 30!

Hey everybody, I turned 30 years old today, and I feel really good. You know me; I hit the gym everyday and sometimes twice on a rare occasion. Overall, I am doing pretty well, but I still have many fitness goals to go! My drive to succeed and reach my goals continues to stay strong, but I could use your help now that I’ve reached my thirties! Recently, some 140 of you who are friends with me on Facebook received this favor via Facebook message. Some of you may not have received my request just yet (but, if you did, please disregard for now)! Here is what I am asking your help for:

I just wanted to reach out and ask each of you for a quick favor… as you all pretty well know, I love to workout, and I hit the gym almost everyday! Currently, I am taking some awesome pre-workout supplements (C4 and M5) from a newer yet growingly popular company called Cellucor. After following them on Twitter and Facebook, I realized that they are giving away a free year of supplements to the person who gets the most of their friends and colleagues to like their Facebook Page. Normally, I would not go for such a contest, but I figured that I would give it a go! The Cellucor Facebook Page does not post a whole bunch of content, so liking their page should not bombard your news stream. Also, if you are into fitness or anything like that, their FB Page might offer you some new deals on supplements that might fit your needs and goals. The cut-off is August 15th; to enter myself into the contest, I have to send a list with the number of people who I referred, and they will then verify it via their FB Page, so I ask that, if you like their page, you do not unlike it until after the 15th of August! Here is the direct link to the Facebook Page:

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cellucor-Sports-Nutrition/44829557651

So, I ask that you help me reach my fitness goals during this first year of my 30s. If you would like to help by liking this Facebook Page but are not currently a Facebook friend of mine, please send along a friend request (and/or email me at cellucorcontest@dwaynekilbourne.com) using the subject Cellucor FB Contest so I can be sure to flag and read those accordingly and so I know to add you to the list and get credit for the page referral!! Also, you can tweet me @dwaynekilbourne or simply shoot me a new FB message ~ whichever method works best for you is good for me! Of course, if you wish not to like their Facebook page, I certainly understand! No obligations! With your help, maybe I can win this thing. I am highly determined and will achieve everything I put my mind and action towards! If you do not mind and would like to help me win one full year of top quality Cellucor supplements, I would greatly appreciate it. Soon, I will be blogging about my recent experiences with the Cellucor line of products (whether I win or not), so I hope to provide some more insight soon! Well, after I pick up a new container of M5 at Max Muscle, I am heading out to the gym! I really appreciate all of your support, and thanks for your time, everybody!
